โSetting up the shot on SynthEyes
Youโll need to have run the โScript/Flame/Integrate with Flameโ script at some point, even though you donโt have Flame on your machine, to set up the folder to hold your Flame projects, including this new one.
Create a folder for this project (preferably with the project name from the Flame user) and put the Clip folder and JSON file in it. If you just have the sequence, for consistency you can put it in a folder named Clip in the project folder, or wherever your configuration dictates, though thatโs not essential.
If you have a JSON file, you can run SynthEyesโs โScript/Flame/Load shot setup from Flameโ script and select the JSON file. That will set up the shot, so you can File/Save and move on to the next step.
With no JSON file, you can open the clip manually on your machine. Youโll need to set the exact frame rate and image aspect ratio to the values from the Flame artist. Turn on โMatch Frame Numbersโ on the Shot Settings panel as you do this. Change to Y-Up axes on Edit/Edit Scene Settings, and set the lens model to Std Radial-4 th.
You should then File/Save As the SynthEyes file to the projectโs folder, using the
project name as the file name.
