โ€ŒKey Components

๏‚ท Originating Project Name: An informational field telling you which preset file is in effect. You canโ€™t directly type here; itโ€™s set when you do โ€œSave Asโ€ to create or rename the preset file.

๏‚ท (User) Short Name: A short, editable identifier used in file-naming tags such as <PROJ>. This sets the default for all new scenes. Typing here doesnโ€™t immediately overwrite the current sceneโ€”unless you later merge (โ€œSaveโ€ + โ€œYesโ€)

๏‚ท Sceneโ€™s Originating Project Name: Shows which preset was active when the

scene was created. This is purely for reference.

๏‚ท (Scene) Short Name: A local override for the current scene. Changing it only affects this open shot, unless you explicitly save it back to the user-level preset.

๏‚ท Save: Copies changes from the scene-level (bottom box) to the user-level

preset (top box). If the two differ, youโ€™ll be asked if you want to update

/User/Current, which merges the sceneโ€™s settings upward.

๏‚ท Save As: Lets you create or overwrite a project preset file. You can also choose to update /User/Current at the same time, which makes the newly saved file your active project preset.

๏‚ท Load: Replaces your current user presets with values from a chosen project preset file. Optionally applies those values to the current scene as well.
